先后就读于广州中医药大学和香港浸会大学，获得博士学位。现任中药学院药理教研室副教授。2014年入选“广东省千百十人才培养工程”第八批培养对象。

主要领域为中医药治疗炎症性肠病和免疫性肝损伤的作用及机制研究。

现承担广东省自然基金一项，已结题项目包括国家自然基青年项目、广东省自然科学基金、广东省医学科研基金等。

主要负责药理学、毒理学、药学英语等本专科及研究生课程的教学工作。

近5年发表SCI论文13篇，教学论文3篇，主持完成省级以上项目5项，校级教改课程1项，参与编写全国通用的本科生教材3本。
